  • Cheated today and mad at myself...

I don't even know why I cheated... I was sooooo inspired. I still am, but I'm upset at myself for falling off the wagon and really feeling overwhelmed and depressed.

I'm completely starting over the 14-day induction tomorrow and hoping to make this one clean.

Start back RIGHT THIS MINUTE! You can do it! If you aren't going to eat anything else today, go get you a big glass of water and start over right now. If you are going to eat again, make it atkins friendly and start over right now. You came here for support and that's a good thing!! You've done such a good job already, and today was a slip up, get right back to it and you'll be fine!

I'm not going to give up. And you're right, I'm not waiting until tomorrow to start over, I will do it right now. I already have the water in front of me. No more food tonight... just water water water. And tomorrow will be a bright new day.

You have no idea what the support here means to me. Right now it's really the only place I get that, and I love it.

I had a slip up a couple weeks back...and I came here and FESSED UP...I got right back on track and haven't looked back. This is the best place, and I've made so many new friends. Your success is my success and my success is yours because we all do it together!!

A great attitude BUT - if you have eaten offplan dont punish your body by not eating anything else in the day!! (I am assuming you were not posting after your usual last meal of the day here)
Just continue to eat your Atkins per the plan, eating when hungry and until not hungry and from the allowed list.

And I noticed you posted you were going to start induction again.

If you slip while on your 14-day induction you will do better just to carry on counting your 14 days and not restarting.

This is because Dr Atkins gives us a chart to work out from our 14 day loss what sort of metabolism we have and allows us to work out our likely CCLL from the results too.

By restarting halfway through you will not get a clear indication of your weightloss at the end of the 14 days to work with.

Also some of us would never complete our induction if we had to start from day one each time we made a mistake/bad choice of food
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
