    Hey everyone, I had a relapse this week. My friends birthday was the other day, and they were serving rum punch. I had about 4 big cups of it. Then I also had to cook for the party, I made bake chicken, bake mac and cheese, and salmon cakes , which is made with flour. I had about 5 of those. I had some mashed potatoe also. I feel so horrible and disappointed. I want to start again tomorrow. Please Help me, I need some motivation. I was on day seven of my induction and had lost 10lbs..please help.

    Ok quana...YOU CAN DO THIS! How badly do you want those beautiful clothes and that GORGEOUS SMILE back??????????

    What you need to do is make YOUR food be BETTER than what you cook for someone else. You obviously like to cook since you're cooking for others, you just need to learn how to cook LOW CARB. More often than not, I find that others always end up eating MY food than the low-carb garbage I cook for them!!!

      Now you've seen firsthand that this way of eating works since you got some quick results, and also how horrible it feels to cheat. Bleck. Maybe it tasted pretty good going down but the 10 minutes of yum certainly isn't worth the miserable, bloated feeling, the disapointment and guilt, or the poundage that wants to go straight to your @$$ afterwards. You'll probably be completely knocked out of ketosis but 2 or 3 days of dedicated induction should get you back in fat burning mode.

      Start fresh again tomorrow.

      You need motivation? You lost **10** pounds in a week, girl! Wow, if only I could pull that off! Surely that must feel better than eating a stupid blob of mashed potatoes?!?

      In the future, plan better for those special occasions! Bring atkins friendly foods for yourself if you have to bring something - or eat beforehand so you're not hungry and less likely to eat something bad. Check out the recipes for some really awesome things to try. Many of them are party friendly!
