  • No more "starting over tomorrow"

As long as I can remember when I've fallen off my diet (and that's been a LOT), I've said "oh well, I will start over tomorrow. All those start-overs left me at my highest weight ever.

I won't do that ever again. Of course I'll have slip-ups, that's human. But I am promising right now that when I make a wrong choice I won't take that to mean I can eat everything in sight and just keeping "starting over tomorrow". I will kick myself in the fanny and keep moving forward to goal.

Re: No more "starting over tomorrow"

I'm on Day 9 of Re-Induction. I lost 13 pounds about 4 months ago and then nilly-nallied my way into a stall. I decided to re-do the 14 days and then move into OWL properly. I think because I decided that enough was enough and I really really really did want to make my goal, it's been easier this time. Of course, I also put the scale away for these two weeks - I can't wait to see what next Monday holds for me!

You can do it! This is more than losing weight - it's about your health, your well-being, changing the way you look at food and life!

I'm behind you all the way!

Desired Weight: unknown, but below 180
    1st Goal: 245

be afraid that it will never begin.

That's sounds like a great pledge to have! By all means, you don't want to 'slip'...but, if you do, jump right back on THAT VERY MINUTE. Don't give yourself the license to continue slipping "because I've already blown it". Keep up that good spirit, and you'll do great!

Oh I'm not saying I'll never start Induction over! But I definitely won't go on those binges, waiting on the next Monday!

        You guys are the best!

I know exactly what you mean. I have done the same thing my whole life. But I finally just came to a point where I said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Today is the day! And I'm 2 weeks in with no cheats. You can do this Cristy! It's great that you realized the error of your ways and committed to this WOE. If you feel on the verge of cheating come here and post. You'll find lots of support. Just DON'T CHEAT!! It'll be so worth it in the end!

Exactly. Going back to our old ways after a "diet" puts us right back where we were. This is a lifetime deal that's easy to do.
