hey there everyone, i see on some of your posts the amount of weight some of you have lost, oh my god, incredible. im totally new to this and have been doing induction for 9 days now, i've only been eating meat, cheese, fish and butter. though i do drink diet coke (not much though, maybe one litre per day) and i havent lost any weight at all, i feel quite flu-ish. is this flu-ish feeling a sign of my metabolism changing (lipolisys or ketoses)? and when do you think the weight will start burning off? im 14 stone and want to get down to 11.5 stone. any input would be much appreciated, thank you very much in advance.

welcome to ADBB and to Atkins. first I'd recommend you get a copy of DR ATKINS NEW DIET REVOLUTION 2002 edition and read chapter 11 and then the rest of the book cause Atkins is a big veggie eating plan 3 whole cups a day of specific low glycemic ones he lists in chapter 11.
Yep that flu we call induction flu and it is your body detoxing from all you had to give up. it will go away soon and you will have a great burst of energy.
what you doing for the mandatory exercise part of your Atkins? we have several open enrollment exercise challneges you can join for some fun doing that mandatory exercise.
Oh and I'd be remiss if I didn't dsay check out the journal section boith the stats and chats for lots of support during your journey.
