  • My progress

I have been doing my weigh in's on Saturday morning for the past 6 months so I am still continuing with that even though I cheated through Tuesday and had to start over. I had a gained about 3 pounds after cheating for 3 days. I wasn't eating that much, but lesson learned. So when I weighed in today, I was down 4 since I weighed in on Wednesday morning. I now officially have under 100 to lose!!

    My goals progress for Friday
    1. Only drank about 80 oz today. I need to find a good system that keeps me drinking throughout the day-any suggestions?
    2. I made the revolution rolls-not bad-tried with chicken salad and some alfalfa sprouts. Think I had too much of the sprouts. Did not enjoy, but the rolls was pretty good considering.
    3. Had some radish in a salad-it wasn't too bad. It was bag salad so it had the raddish and then some red cabbage. I still haven't tried them alone, but still I didn't mind them.
    4. I didn't officially walk, but I did do a lot of housework and spend A LOT of time walking back and forth and up and down the stairs.
    5. No picture-plan to do today.

    Week 1 (6/21-6/27)
    1. Drink at least 1 gallon plain water daily
    2. Try at least 3 new recipes (this will be tough-I always prepare things the same-this will encourage me to try things differently and include foods that are different for me)
    3. Try at least 5 new foods on acceptable foods list (this will also be tough being that I only have a set food list of about 10 things I eat)
    4. Begin exercising by walking everyday.
    5. Take a before picture of myself

Try making a plan for your water such as taking a sip every time you do something. I sip everytime I click on a new post here at ADBB, but it can be anything that you do a lot of. Before you know it, you're drinking a lot of water.

      Re: My progress

I don't have plan per-say, but I do have a routine. I fill up the amount of water I want to drink for the day in a plastic, Tupperware pitcher. That way it's premeasured and I don't have to think about it. I keep that on the counter throughout the day. I like my water room temperature. It's easier for me to drink more that way. Anyway, I drink down a whole glass at one time - about 12 ounces first thing when I get up.

Then, after every trip to the bathroom, I come back and drink another 12 ounce glass- until the pitcher is gone. Most times, I end up drinking more than I intend to.

Funny - the little things we do, isn't it?
