Coke with Lemon

I have watched in the supermarket and the new diet coke with lemon has no carbs in it, or sugar, is it safe to drink?

It has aspartame, we're not supposed to drink that, but that's I think Mainly because it's always had a question mark over it regarding health risks.

I was a real Coke guzzler, all those fizzy drinks.
Now, after a year on and off induction, I found that i went to a very select few diet drinks, cos I didn't like them very much, then my tastes change and I found them ok, but now, I can't drink normal coke and all that stuff, it's just too damn sweet for me and diet drinks I have very, very occassionally.

Now, I'm a water man and you feel great when you drink it, knowing that it's the best thirst quencher, it's good for your skin, good for your liver and kidneys and good at helping you lose weight on Atkins.

Water - wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeee!

If I drink diet coke I retain water and don't lose so I try to stay away from it. I can drink Diet Rite or coolaide I make with splenda and it's not a problem. Not sure if it is the aspertame or the caffine my body doesn't like in diet coke but it doesn't like something about it anyway. LOL Mostly I just stick to water unless I am just wanting something with flavor.

Aspartame affects blood sugar levels. That's why even though it has no calories or sugar, it can stall your weightloss.
