  • Started Yesterday....

I know I said I was starting Thursday- BUT...I started yesterday with a clean induction!

Here's my "i ate" Woke up and had 2 hard boiled eggs for breakfast. Had some carrot sticks for snack, turkey/cheese for lunch. bacon/cheese omellete for dinner, and then was hungry about 8 so I had a salad with peppers and cukes.

Drank 70 oz of water, and had decaff coffee with breakfast with no sugar or splenda (was rough, but I did it)

No headache to speak of, I didnt think I would since I had already switched from caffine soda to caffeine free soda...then stopped soda all together so the only caffine I'm missing is from my coffee.

Start weight was 159lbs (I'm 5'8") Will weigh myself next Monday and see how I've done. It's easy to stay off the scale, because I dont own one! LOL

Next Monday I quit smoking...as I'll have been on Wellbutrin for 14 days....whloohooo!

Carrots are full of natural sugar. You can add them back eventually. Keep up the good work, it's all worth it!

Make sure you reread the section with the list of allowed foods in DANDR just to avoid making the same mistake again

You can also print out a copy of the 'wallet sized' list in one of the threads at the top of this forum. I made several copies when I started induction to be able to have one with me when I went shopping or to a restaurant as well as pinning one up in the kitchen!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
