Well I thought I was doing great. I'm on day 5 feeling good. I see that I've lost some, although I haven't gotten on the scale. I can't get the keto sticks to go higher then moderate, so I went to fitday. Aghhhh. My carbs have been about 25 for the last 5 days. I have been eating too many eggs and too much cheese.I guess its good that at least I know I'm not doing it right. Should I go back to day 1 starting tomorrow? or should I keep going? I'm so upset rite now.

Re: so bummed
Fitday does not deduct fiber, did you know that? You need to do that manually. If you did not deduct fiber you may be well under what you think for your carb count.
How about giving us an idea of what you have been eating??
And the ketostix - if they register ANYTHING you are in ketosis. Water intake can affect the color. Do not stress over the color.BARB

Re: so bummed
yep you have to tell fitday to track fiber in the goals section and then you subtract the listed fiber total from your total carbs for Atkins net carbs.
Check out the FAQ section and see why color is not an indicator of weight loss. Follow the rules from chapter 11 drink all your water do your mandatory exercise part of your Atkins and you will be a loser!

Re: so bummed
Good Luck, I was feeling bummed out too. I got some advice, took heed, and moving on. We have to make that decision eventually. But in this case starting over isn't necessary, you're keeping it clean. My Stats:

Medium/Mesomorph—Hourglass

Just stick with induction. Make sure you are counting your carbs as "net carbs" (total carbs - fiber), it's most likely you are ok, especially if those carbs are coming from veggies, which have fiber.
Post a menu for review can't hurt either, just to make sure you are doing things right. I found this helped me alot when I got started.Start date: 2/22/04 347/222/135 ~ 5'2"
STAC Restart: 1/05/09
306/229/135 ~ 5'2" 77 lbs down!
Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!
Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!
Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight
Goal #4: 210 - Still on track!
Goal #5: 200/199 - 4th 10% - One-derland! End year goal!
