  • 1st Day!

    I purchased my book yesterday and stayed up extremely late trying to read it for a good start today........I woke up this morning (tired) and did not have an appetite for food. I am not normally a breakfast person so this is no surprise. I know it says to eat within 2 hours of waking up but I am not hungry!

    I have also been reading the board and wondered what is FITDAY? I am totally confused about this introduction period. I am not exactly sure of what to eat and what to stay away from (probably in the book but didn't see it). I see all of the 30 different meal plans but not sure if this is for the OWL or introduction.

    Someone help me.

    Ya need to eat something. I wasnt a breakfast person either. NOw, Im not so bad but theres noway I eat a full meal either. Grab a hardboiled egg or a couple pieces of bacon. Something small is okay but ya gotta have something.

    Fitday (www.fitday.com) is a free online program that tracks the food you eat. all you have to do is create an account. you enter the foods you have eaten and it counts your fiber, calories, carbs, fat, etc etc all for you. Its quick and easy.

      P.S. You probably need a little snack even if you can't eat a real meal within two hours of waking -- to start your metabolism and help you lose weight better.

        Wow...thanks for all of this information. I have printed it out to keep with me in the future. I just had two boiled eggs and 2 strips of bacon with a 8oz glass of water. Although this will take some getting used to, I am hoping to sucessfully complete my introductory period!

          I wasn't a breakfast person at all either and now it's my favorite meal of the day! I go to bed craving breakfast! I wake up every morning early enough to make something...usually a sausage & cheese omelet or some bacon and eggs with cheese or something...usually throw some veggies in there.

          Start eating up, drinking lots of water and you'll find you have so much more energy! I find Fitday indispensable. Take a look at mine (link below) if you need any guidance.
