Not that I'm not thrilled with my 3 pound loss in 10 days, but is that what I should have expected to lose? It seems like everyone is loosing a whole lot more. Also, I'm 5ft tall, start weight 140 lbs, and I want to drop 25 total. Thanks in advance for the insight.

Re: 3 lbs gone
Hi!
From what I have heard (I am new to this also so not 100% sure) you should expect to lose 2-3% of the amount you need to lose so because you need to lose less, that's why the loss is slower. Hope that helps. and well done!

Re: 3 lbs gone
Why not have one of the veterans take a look at what you're eating?
Here is the forum to request someone to look at your menu:

Hope this helps. It may just be one thing that you're eating/drinking causing a slow loss.
(For best results you need to exercise and drink a minimum of 64 ounces of water daily.)

Re: 3 lbs gone
A loss of 5-10% of what you hope to lose is 'normal' on the first 14 days on induction, so you are doing fine!
When your 14 days is up you can use your loss figure to work out your personal 'resistance' to weightloss and make a guess at your likely CCLL bu using the relevant tables in DANDR.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Re: 3 lbs gone
Its not about that number on the scale. You can lose entire sizes on Atkins and show no scale movement at all. Just keep going, and watch how your clothing fits looser and looser. You are doing fine.
