  • need snack ideas....

    Hi all. We are going to stay with friends tomorrow night and go to the beach for the day. Just wondering if y'all had some good induction friendly, cooler-traveling friendly snacks I can bring? I have dinner covered, and breakfast at their place. We are having lunch on the beach though and I'm a bit nervous. They know all about atkins but I know there will be chips and such. Just want to make sure I have some friendly snacks in case I get a craving.

    Turkey or roast beef roll-ups:
    Filling is cream cheese mixed with chopped celery or cucumber and spread over a slice of turkey or roast beef and roll up.

    Celery sticks w/cream cheese:
    Mix cream cheese w/some dill or plain and swipe into celery

    Celery sticks and Cucumber slices

    String cheese

    Salads for just in case....
    egg, tuna, or even chicken

      Lisa has given you some great suggestions!

      You could also make some cheese 'chips'/crackers by putting some cubes of piles of grated cheese in the microwave and zapping it till melted and crisp.

      They keep without refridgeration if necessary too!

        You can also buy those beef sticks and cheese for emergancies, I have two in my purse just in case.
