  • Why Vitamins with no Iron?

    Why are we supposed to take a vitamin with no iron?

    I am taking the ones with iron... could this be causing me to stall?

    I am doing PERFECT on my diet... my keto. sticks read that I have small amounts of keto. but this morning... stepped on the scale and 1 pound up!!!!

    What the heck?

    You'll naturally get enough iron in your diet when you're on Atkins. Too much iron isn't good for you.

          I was stalled all last week at 219-220 yesterday I went to 218 finally - today back up to 219.

          I cut out my diet drinks after last weeks stall.

          But the funny thing is I'm showing I'm in keto. with my urine strips.

            Hmmm ... is that for everyone ... cuz assuming you're eating lots of meat and dairy ... but I'm a vegettarin and though I eat dairy I doubt I get enough iron

              actually before you ditch your iron vits you should discuss your blood chem with your doc cause menay femals don't absorb iron from the intestine as well as men do and you might still need the iron in your vits.

              You are not stalled at all actually. A stall is defined by Dr Atkins as 4 weeks of no scale NOR inches lost. going one week isn't a stall just a slight heisitation in scale movement. Weight loss isn't a linear effect. you will have days of loss days of flat movement and even days of scale weight increase as you morph your body working your Atkins to shed body fat mass and add lean body tissues.

              if your sclaes frustrate you then join the no weigh challenge or use your tape measure to reward you fro your hard work doing your Atkins exercise and eating parts of the plan.
