Hi everyone.
New to the Atkins board, and to the Atkins way of eating. I started induction a few days ago, but I'm afraid I may have cheated already. I found a recipe for peanut butter fudge online, and decided to make it, since my sweet tooth is so demanding.
The recipe for the fudge is as follows:
8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 oz. unsweetened Baker's chocolate
4 tsp peanut butter (i used the carb options PB)
1 cup Splenda
1/4 cup heavy cream
After making the fudge, I realized that neither chocolate nor peanut butter are on the "acceptable foods" list.
Should I re-start induction? I'm going on vacation to Italy in just a week and a half, and I don't know if I'll be able to stay in induction over there, since most Italian food probably contains loads of carbs. Would it just be a better idea to start induction after I return from Italy?
Thanks much!
