Well its day six, and for the first time since embarking on this little mission of mine, I decided to hop on the scale at the rink. Down damn near 8 pounds. Talk about shock, its like it just magicly melted off of me. Wow, sick huh? This had me totally pumped for the remainder of my skate and shoot. I think its these little mini-triumphs that keep us motivated to steer the course. I dont know if it was the weight loss or just my general feeling of coolness, but after we went into scrimage this Morning, I was totally on fire. I scored three goals in a little less than a 20 min scrimage, one of which was a massive slapshot that I took from the blue line (an ill advised move that normally gets you screamed at by caoaches for not scoping for a better look, but what the ****, it found the back of the net). I was so stoked that even after we broke up the scrimage, I was still trying to find people to play a pick up game to carry on with my momentum.
Ill get sick of eggs for the rest of my life before I give up on this one. Thanks so very much for all the words of support and encouragement. It means a heap to me!
