    Hmm...I always seem to have this problem as well.

    I buy frozen veggies because they don't go bad if you don't eat them fast enough and because they seem to be a little cheaper, less prep time, etc.

    I do try to look at the sales ads to see which store has meats on sale. But we have a Meijer and a Kroger within 2 miles, so I'm not really going out of my way.

    Also, don't fall for the "frankenfoods." Definitely an unnecessary expense.

    I try to cook things in bulk. Eggs are definitely a cost friendly purchase.
