  • Fitday Confusion

    Guys im so confused.

According to my calculations from the book- im very specific about veggie quantities and measurements of cheese etc, i consumerd 11.7 carbs yesterday, but acording to fitday i did 18. Terrified that this could sabotage my weightloss!

Fitday says that an egg is 2 carbs but the book says 0.6. Fitday says 4 slices roast beef is 5 carbs but the book and the package say 0.1.

Very confused. Could someone let me know how to make my diary available to the public so i can show you guys what i mean.

What should i do- go with the book or fitday? Very confused and concerned

      Re: Fitday Confusion

Is it a large egg, extra large, boiled, poached, etc.? Things like that will make a difference in the numbers you get. The same goes for the roast beef. Have you selected the right "roast beef" from the list? Lean only, fat and lean eaten, etc. If you have the package then use those numbers. You can select "custom food" and create your own food entry. You'll get to type in all the nutrition information from the packaging.

      Hope this helped a bit.

That'll get alot of people when they're inputing the food. Also check the unit of measurement, meaning each, or ounce or gram instead of cup, pound, kilo, etc.

          Re: Fitday Confusion

Someone already said this.. but yes you need to check the serving sizes, and the ingredients also. If you're using fitday pc, you can list the ingredients, and take out what you didnt use. fitday uses default ingredients a lot of the time.

also if you have the package of roast beef, you can just make your own customized food and input all the nutritional values yourself.

To allow members to view your fitday entries you can go to the home page once you have logged on to your fitday 'account' and scroll right down to the 'make my journal public' button. You will be given a link you can copy and paste here - it will end something like 'owner=yourname'
