  • Itchy and dull skin

This is the only thing that really bothers me (apart from my deadly breath):
my skin, body and face, has become very dry, dull, blotchy, and ITCHY!
Most people seem to witness an incredible improvement, what's going on with me? An increased water intake usually gives me this even glow, but not this time.
Fellow (ex)sufferers, what do you do? So far, body lotions haven't worked.
My decreasing dress size shall be the main measurement of my success.

Are you taking your multivitamins and eating a variety of the veggies?

Also you might be eating something that you have a food intolerance to. So you might want to review your menues and foods to see if you are eating anything "new" in the regards of condiments, ingredients, sweeteners, etc.

      1. How about checking your day's menus at www.fitday.com to see if you are getting enough fat/oils (should be ~~65% on induction, carbs 5%, protein 30%)

      2. You're drinking the water, but perhaps have an electrolyte deficiency preventing the water from hydrating you properly -
magnesium & potassium run low much more easily than sodium, and are easily depleted during induction

      3. Induction causes toxins to purge, some of htem through the skin. Does your lotion contain diphenhydramine, which can relieve itching?

Yes, I'm taking all my vitamins and I'm eating my veggies, and nothing that I haven't eaten before.
Thanks, Susan, for the link. My lotion doesn't contain diphenhydramine. I'll have to find one that does. My skin is much better this morning, though.
