Re: goood morning have question???
I would not stress about what the scale says for at least 14 days if you are following the plan according to the rules. It could just be a bounce, or your body is still hanging on to the glycogen in the muscle. Eventually, it will have to burn through that remaining stored glucose, and you'll see a whoosh as the water leaves with it. It might be just as good to stay away from the scale, so you don't go too nuts over what it says.Kent - 35-M-6'4"

Re: goood morning have question???
Isn't it absolutely amazing how much power we can give a scale over our own feelings??!!! Remember that there are many elements to weight loss. One is what we eat. Another is how we deal with our feelings and whether our emotions lead to our eating, etc.. Make a bargain with yourself to follow Atkins, diligently for a month and stay away from the scale. Take your measurements with a tape measure and record them, but then forget about it for a month. Try to break that cycle of looking toward that stupid hunk of metal and plastic to make you feel good about yourself!
When you are alone in your head, you are in a bad neighborhood.
