    Diet Soda

    Hey all - just a quick question. Is diet soda okay during induction? I know that aspartame is in it... is it okay to drink in small amounts? (especially if I'm already under 20g for the day)?

      It doesn't replace the minimum daily water requirement of 64 ounces. And one serving of it counts as 1 of the 3 daily artificial sweeteners allotments.

          Sounds good to me. I've already had over 80oz of water, and no artificial sweeteners at all.

              If you have Diet rite it is made with Splenda and no caffine. It still counts as one, but it won't stall you.......Dawn
