  • Green beans?

    I was looking through my DANDR book and didn't see regular old canned green beans on the acceptable OR unacceptable list for induction veggies. They'd be an easy/cheap way to get some greens but I don't want to if I'm gonna mess things up. Yea or nay?

    They are listed as string beans I believe... but yes, they are allowed . Wax beans as well.

      Yes, green beans are o.k. I love blanching them, then sauteeing them in olive oil and butter with onion and garlic. At the end I add a little shredded cheese and some bacon. Yum!

          just remember that if you are on induction you can only have 1 cup a day of them provided you have only had 2 cups of salad veggies that day.....
