  • No cravings?

    I'm on day 9 of induction and I have not had ANY cravings as I hear other people talk about. I do find that I'm not hungry so I have to make myself eat at times but I haven't had any cravings whatsoever. Oh, I still have my one cup of morning coffee with 1/2 tsp of sugar and this doesn't cause me to be hungry or crave either. BTW I've lost a total of 6 lbs so far and I did have some alcoholic beverages this past weekend

    The sugar and the alcohol are not allowed during induction!! We go by the book, Dr. Atkin's New Diet Revolution, though you may lose some weight with other regimens, your long term success at keeping it off may be jeapardised...

    What have you been eating, BTW?

      I know I'm bad!....... I have been eating meats and cheeses mainly, some salads with 1 tbsp dressing, egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad (all with mayo), hamburger steaks, chicken breast, boiled eggs, steak, pepperoni, water only to drink... oh and for something sweet or for a snack I may eat a sugar free jello with some Redi Whip or just a spoon of Redi Whip by itself.


      I know I should read the book but I just started and I haven't had a chance to go get it.

        I dont see any veggies on your menu? Are you eating veggies? It's important to get those in! You may wanna check the sticky in this forum for the aceptable foods list. That will help you out alot!

          oh i did forget to mention that I eat steamed broccoli with butter, celery and lettuce (only b/c that's all I bought at the grocery store and everything else in my house is canned)
