  • Day 6.

    I was a heavy beer drinker, and junk food eater and I just stopped cold turkey. Its actually not all that hard. I know it varies from person to person, but I am happy with how its going. Only mistake I think I am making is using a multivitamin instead of seperate vitamins.

    Truthfully I believe I am over eating but I eat only until full, not stuffed. Any ideas on how to fill up on smaller portions? Or do I just have to tough it out and get used to it.

    I also am a little confused about how keto sticks are used? Any ideas?

    Great start Linx. Have you read the BOOK, Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution, it saids that you should never be hungry. You can post a days menu in the Review My Menu section so the experts can take a look. You can up your fat intake to about 65% of your meal and you can eat another meal. All should help with your hunger. Also are you drinking your water.
    Actually a multi is required so I don't know what your talking about separate vitamins. There are a few that can be used, but the good doctor requires a Multi first and foremost.
    Keto sticks are a waste of money in my book. You pee on them and they tell you if your spilling fat into your urine. But it doesn't mean much, as it can be fat from your diet or fat from your body.

      I've always drank an immense amount of water and have increased somewhat, I drink anywhere between 1 and 3 gallons of water a day. I've noticed my ketone sticks will show purple if I havent been drinkign a lot of water but be low to none if I have.

      I havent read the entire book, but I have done a lot of research and understand what is needed.

      I guess IDK, I am a little worried about losing the weight as fast as possible and have itin my head that if I restrict the carbs even more I will lose more weight. I do take in a lot of protein and fat though I do work it off, I want to gain muscle mass as well as lsoe the fat content.

        Day 6 here also. I was also a good ole southern girl beer drinker too! It's hard...i know. We can do it! My portions have decreased significantly over the past couple of days day 1 & 2 i was eating everything i could! Take it easy and it will pass. Keep up the good work!
