  • Induction over but I must confess!!!

    Hi All

Induction is over, but I must confess I cheated twice!!!!! Firstly I cheated with a bottle of wine!! and the second time with a chinese meal!! I had already signed up to a charity night at a chinese restaurant and it was a set meal, and I wouldn't back out as its a really good cause - I did try not to eat much rice though!!

Anyway after all my naughtiness I managed to lose 5lbs which I'm totally thrilled with - I must admit that since I knew I was going to the restaurant on Sunday I did spend most of the afternoon in the gym to try and compensate!

I'm moving over to extended induction now, as I really love the food that I'm eating and know I can cope for another few weeks at the strict induction - I've no more meals or nights out planned until September, so I want to look my best when I next go out, so extended induction here I come!!!

    keep thinking thin everyone

    congratulations on your loss!!

But make sure you dont stay on induction too long before moving to the main weightloss phase of Atkins!

OWL needs to be followed slowly to make sure you learn what foods your bodymcan handle and to discover your CCLL, and you will need to lose your last 5-10 pounds in premaintenance if you want to follow the manual!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Good job. Some of us can get right back on track after a "cheat"...glad you're one of them. Best not to make it a habit though....its so easy to lose control (I would know...). Great going!
