  • Question about Yogurt & Slimfast

Does anyone have an opinion about eating Dannon Carb & Sugar Control yogurt or Low Carb Slimfast during induction? Not everyday but occasionally?

My opinion and its likely to be the opinion of 99.5% of the members here, but during induction you should only eat foods that appear on the legal induction food list. If you dont have this list, you will find it under the FAQ section above.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

I agree with Rich...if it's not on the list, you shouldn't eat it.

Yogurt and dairy type products are not allowed until the Dairy rung of OWL.

Personally, I found that even low carb yogurt stalled me.
          Start date: 2/22/04 347/222/135 ~ 5'2"
          STAC Restart: 1/05/09
          306/229/135 ~ 5'2" 77 lbs down!

          Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!
          Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!

          Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight
          Goal #4: 210 - Still on track!
          Goal #5: 200/199 - 4th 10% - One-derland! End year goal!
Female/Hypothyroidism/Arthritis/Fibromyalgia - If I can lose weight on this, so can you!

Thanks everyone. I do have the list, but prior to buying the book I stocked up on the slimfast and yogurt thinking I was doing a good thing! What about after induction?

Re: Question about Yogurt & Slimfast

I would give the stuff away Paula. You wont be able to eat the yogurt until the relevant rung of OWL and I would suggest staying away from the slim fast stuff altogher.

Try donating it to someone or just throw it away. IMHO more trouble than its worth.
