Some vitamins do contain carbs because of the sugar listed on the ingreditents. Just double check that. And...although the sticks are recommended, they're not the entire gage of your weight loss. Dr. A states clearly there will be a point they won't even turn a color. Bad breath, smelly urine, lose clothes, feeling great...etc. are all signs of weight loss and ketosis.

As far as staying on Extended Induction, that depends on the amount of weight you need to safelty lose towards your goal. Some folks going up in OWL ladder find they lose even more weight, and some don't lose it as fast. Have fun with this way of eating and explore the possibilities!

Best advise for you: check the ingredients on your vitamins for hidden sugars, take your vitamins, keep exercising, drink your water, and stay the course or move up the ladder. It's your choice!

Oh, and congrats on losing thus far

    Best wishes on your journey.

super one vitamins and vitamins for weak legs?? I'm curious why 2 sets of vitamins? Also why you waited 7 weeks (I assume) to start taking supplements.

The stick's color can be influenced by the concentration of your urine, how old the stick is, whether any of the chemical in it washed off the test pad (esp. if you pee directly on it instead of dipping it quickly), and the amount of exercise prior to testing, besides the amount of ketosis you're in. You can be in ketosis and have no color change at all.

Being in ketosis is like being pregnant. You either are or you aren't. There aren't varying degrees of ketosis, despite that the instrument we use to measure our urine has shades of purple and pink. What is key is that they are changing. So don't worry about the shade of purple. As Susan indicated, the color concentration may be just other factors like whether you have had a lot of water or how aged your ketostix are.
