Has Anyone tried the prepared chicken ceaser salad at albertsons? Is it okay to eat 1/2 pound of it without the croutons?

Re: Is this acceptable?
I would be very wary of it, especially during the first 14 days of induction. Personally, I would only eat stuff that I had made myself, so that I knew exactly what had gone into it.
Those first 14 days of induction are critical.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!
I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Re: Is this acceptable?
Alot of prepared foods have added sugars and other hidden ingredients which can potentially sabatoge induction. I would personally stay away from them during the induction phase as it is the most crucial phase of Atkins and the most crucial step for your weight loss success.
It's convenient to eat prepared foods especially if you have a busy lifestyle but prepare it yourself the night before and that way you're not blindsided by hidden ingredients and your weight loss is not stalled.
Most people who don't succeed during induction decide that Atkins doesn't work and then they stop the program. The truth is that most people who don't succeed during induction, just didn't follow the program correctly.
I was that person. This is my second attempt at Atkins and I've read the book cover to cover several times and posted any questions I had on ADBB and everyone has been such a huge help. Prior to this I listened to people who said they ate the bars and shakes, etc or they ate all the meat and cheese they wanted to on induction but they only lost a pound or two. I listened to those people and it sabatoged my success. This time I have one simple rule for myself.....If it's not on the acceptable list then I don't eat it, it's that simple. I finished my two week induction Monday and I've lost 9 lbs this time compared to the 2 lbs I lost last time.
I know the induction phase is hard but in the grand scope of things, what are two weeks out of your life? Forgo any prepared foods and you'll see the reward at the end of induction.
Good luck and wishing you all the best!
