Try increasing your water intake, that sometimes helps.

ho3w much fiber does it say it contains. pea fiber is fine too. you need about 30 grams of fiber as the recommended daily amount are you getting that with your food choices? also doesn't your capsul say to take with water and follow with another glass too? the fiber needs water to absorb and make a mass with so it can be pushed along and out. if you are getting uncomfortable Fr Atkins recommends using a natural vegetable laxative which would be something with senna in it.

The same thing happened to me in the beginning and rather than explode, I took a laxitive after taking the fiber! Wooooooshieeeeeeee - thought I wasn't going to make it to the bathroom. Next time I will only take half the adult dosage.

You might want to look at your menu, too. If you are in induction, you should absolutely try to get the most from your allowed 20 net carbs. Not only should you eat all 3 cups of veggies, you should aim for a variety that will give you both the bulk and the natural fiber needed for regularity. Too many people think induction means eat all the meat and cheese and lettuce you want. NOT!

Cheese limit 4 oz/day - more than that can stop you up.
Lettuce is mostly water, and pretty much a waste of value, given the variety of choices.

If you are doing induction by the book and still have problems, then the added fiber can help. I found Senna Prompt capsules at the 1$ store, and half-doses work well. It contains fiber plus senna alkaloids to stimulate the bowels.
