A couple of days ago I hit my 14 day Induction Phase goal. Sadly, no real weight loss. I did Atkin's 4 years ago, lost tons of weight quickly and kept it off for 2 years. What am I doing differently to have no weight loss this time???!!!
First off, I'm using Splenda frequently (in drinks & my nightly 2 scoops of CarbSmart ice cream). I have also had 2 nights of alcohol during my 14 day induction, PLUS I cheated a couple of times at social gatherings by eating things off my diet. Although I cut back substantially, these cheats have ruined my weight loss.
This is meant to be a warning for anyone starting the induction phase or failing in it. Don't use Splenda products until you've reached your goal weight, count your carbs religiously during the 1st week (1 Splenda ='s 1 Carb no matter what the package says), and stay on the diet. I just signed up for Bally's Fitness to start exercising. I look forward to feeling firm & strong again.

Make friends with your tape measure so you can also see the inches of fat being shed doing a propper Atkins too as you morph your body shedding fat mass and adding lean body tissue.
