  • Crappy as ****

    Hi there,

Thought i would post as a newbie..I have read and read ......This induction thing sucks....Oh i know the why's and what's and the reasoning for it...But GOD! I feel terrible. Day 3 and i have headaches, feeling very ackey alll over with dizziness, etc.. I have what i have read "Brain FOG"... I sure hope this feeling goes away. With working weekends too (shiftwork) i really don't have the days to sit and ly around at home till it passes. Any ideas to help with this so called FLU until it passes?

    Thanks SO much.

Sorry to say this but unfortunately, there's not a whole lot you can do to get rid of the symptoms except wait for them to pass. I know it's not much of a consolation but you should be feeling a bit better by tomorrow.

Stick it out and the rewards are going to be worth it.

Keep drinking your water and keep nourishing your body according to the rules. The crappy feeling will pass very soon being in the third or fourth day. It is extremely common and is due to your body trying to still keep burning glucose for energy as you attempt to convert to it burning fat. The physical affects will almost certainly be entirely gone in a day or so. There are emotional or mental effects to losing your old comfort foods, but even these pass as you learn new ways to eat. The good news is that these feelings definitely show you are on the right path.

Couple of Ibprophen...LOTS of water...and be amazed at what all that refined food was actually doing to your body as you detox..it will pass in another day or two...hang in there...it is worth it!!
