Day 5 on a clean induction........

its been a rough 5 days though not because of this WOE more due to family issues. I know that it is doing good as i am getting better results every morning with my blood sugar(i am type 2 diabetic). ok, i dont want to go off ranting so i will end there for now, thanks everyone for being so supportive...which is more than i can say for my family(mother, father & younger brother)

Those blood sugar results should be giving you some confidence that you are doing the right thing. Don't worry about what the family says. You are doing this for you and in 5 days you are already noticing results....THAT IS AWESOME! 11.4 pounds so far? Wow...you are rockin'!!!!

WOW!!! You are doing so great!!! Keep it up!!! Lot's of people don't support this WOE for various resons, but all that matters is you support yourself by continuing to lose weight and improve your blood sugar levels. You will feel soooo rejuvinated and when it gets tough, the pro's on this board is all you need!!!

thanks. its so weird with some people how they (by they i mean my mom can in the same breath say how great it is that i am doing what i need to do and sticking with it, and then say oh come on 1 little bite of (whatever carb loaded thing they made that night) isnt going to kill you. its going to get much easier (though i will push through till then of course i dont mean i am going to wait till then to restart i am going to continue the WOE during this time as well) on december 1st as i will be moving out and will be able to keep an atkins friendly kitchen.

Show your family those blood sugar results. And tell them that improvement is reason alone for you to avoid really carby things because they will mess up your blood sugars and will eventually kill you!

Congrats on your improved blood sugars and I wish you continued success. We had one member who was able to get off her diabetic medications completely, but following this diet.
