  • Feel weak

I'm on day 7 of induction and yesterday and today I feel weak. I don't have the energy to do anything and get tired really easily. But I physically feel weak. Is this normal? Will it pass? I'm eating good and taking my vitamins. Am I lacking something in my diet or a certain vitamin for this feeling? Thanks

I felt the same thing early on but once your body gets adjusted you'll get a sudden burst of energy and there will be no stopping you.

Are you exercising? I found that once I started to exercise I had much more energy. I know it's hard when you're feeling sluggish but honestly, once you get going it does energize you.

I have my fitday posted in the menu review. I just thought of something else that could have done it. I turned the air off the past 3 days to conserve some energy and it was pretty hot in here. Just turned it back on this afternoon.

            Re: Feel weak

It's normal to have a drop the first few days. It's your body switching over from carb fuels to body fat fuels. You just have to get through the hang time in between. Some people don't get it, some people have it for a week. It's a sign that you are doing the diet correctly usually. Just stick with it & it will pass. Exercise REALLY does help get past it. Try a stationary bike for 30 minutes (on easy), or something like that, each day. You'll find it boosts your energy back up for the rest of the day quickly (although you may need a quick nap after the workout).

Stick with it, you're doing great!

              Re: Feel weak

When I first started induction I also felt a bit fatigued. Your body should adjust soon. If you continue to feel weak then perhaps you should increase your intake. Make sure that you NEVER go hungry! Drink plenty of water, it will make you feel great!
