    Low Carb Tortillas

I had on hand La Tortilla Factory Low Carb tortillas (net carbs 3) before I started Atkins this week and wondered if you think it's ok to eat those during Induction?

Rules of Induction, Rule # 4
Eat absolutely no fruit, bread, pasta, grains, starchy vegetables or dairy products other than cheese, cream or butter. Do not eat nuts or seeds in the first two weeks. Foods that combine protein and carbohydrates, such as chickpeas, kidney beans and other legumes, are not permitted at this time.
So check the ingredients to those tortillas. If they contain grains, then they are not acceptable for Atkins Induction per the Rules of Induction.

There is an Induction friendly alternative in the "Induction Recipe Basics" thread near the top of this forum.

I know the ones your talking about and they do contain things we can't eat. I messed up once and wasn't thinking and had those which probably didn't help my weight any. But sometimes we do wrong learn and go on.

So as the others said save it and eat them another time.

          Goodluck

Remember that Induction is not just simply eating less than 20g of Carbs per day. It is restricting your diet down to the basics. That way when you add things back in later you can see how it effects you against a clean slate.

As the others have already said, they wouldn't be induction legal. HOWEVER, they are allowable on the Ongoing Weight Loss Phase in the appropriate order and I enjoy them on occasion.

All the more reason to move up the rungs in OWL so that you CAN have those types of food if YOUR body can handle them.

I saw those babies in my local grocery, and have kept my eye on them for OWL. I want desperately something to make a sandwich-ey type thing up. I'm a recovering sandwich-holic.
