I'm a little confused about coffee..i know that too much caffine will spike up my blood sugar, so is it ok to have plain coffee while on Induction? (no sugar, no cream) and how much? I'm not thinking of having coffee, but i'm getting kind of tired just drinking water and tea all the time.

Re: coffee??
Coffee not only has carbs, but caffeine causes your body to store fat. Are you supposed to switch to decaf for induction? Yes. Do a lot of people stick with regular? Yes again. I did myself for a while, but I gave it up for decaf a month ago and haven't looked back.Paul

Re: coffee??
I can honestly say that I drink coffee almost everyday, but when I don't I lose faster. Somedays my cravings seem to spike, somedays not...
If you're just starting out you might want to nix it out or switch to decaf, but keep in mind that everybodys bodies are different. What works for some may not work for you... If you're set on drinking coffee then just pay close attention to how it affects you, you may have to cut it out and then try adding it back in to really be able to tell...
Also, it's just added carbs and if you add in cream, etc it's extra calories too... is it worth it?
Only you can decide!
