  • Still Not in Ketosis

Yesterday I did very well...same as the day before. No bread, no nothing. Just some salad, some chicken, cheese, broccoli, jell-o gelatin sugar free...

For the past two days it's basically been like that, minus a couple of switches as far as my proteins and veggies.

Why am I not in Ketosis yet? I haven't been able to join a gym yet, could that be it? Seriously considering restarting on Induction for 3 days.

How are you testing for ketosis?

It could be too much cheese...that did it to me before when I was on induction. Are you counting the sugar substitutes such as in the jello, they have carbs too. I don't know whether jello itself has carbs (not counting the sugar sub) Are you drinking enough water?

      I know it's frustrating...hang in there!

        Re: Still Not in Ketosis

I know for me it took a solid 4-5 days b4 ketosis began and it has been wonderful since it has. I felt the same as you getting discouraged and frustrated but really hang in there, It is so worth it and it will happen to you very soon... Also instead of worrying about getting to the gym why not start your day or end your day with a walk. I walk 2 miles every morning and get the benefits of excercise and also get to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and scenes. Good luck to you.
