  • help me..

    two day is my second day, i kept on eating only egg and salad..

    But mum has made cookies and they look wonderful,, how can I control my self?
    Gender: Female
    Starting Weight: 171 lbs
    Current Weight:
    October 7th = 165 lbs
    October 13th = 155 lbs
    October 19th = 153 lbs
    Goal Weight: 143lbs
    Height: 173.5cm (5'8')

    Don't think about the time you'll be in that new position, think about how'd you look in the new position !! ;)

    Remind yourself why you are wanting to lose weight, then all of a sudden those cookies are likely not to be that appealing afterall.

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

        This reminds me of my hubby baking fresh cookies that smelled so good. I forced myself to say "I can't eat that" when he offered me cookies. After saying that so many times, I have it in my head that I can't eat them.

        If you feel tempted, try a dessert that's Atkins friendly...there's lots of them. I have a "weakness" for cream cheese and splenda/pumpkin pie spice (heated up in the microwave for 20 secs).

          just grab 2 cookies and stick them on the body part you think is the fattest and see how welll you think that area looks with even more fat attached. Not a very appetizing pic is it? then since you got the cookies in your hands go into HAZMAT mode and destroy the evil carb sirens calling your man. take them outside and lay out some newspaper and place those evil carbs on them and jump up and down on them grinding them with your heels into crumbs. Then to assure you don't eat them anyways give them a good soaking and roll them up and toss them where they belong in the trash. All the while reflecting on how what you are doing is going to help you acheive your goals.

          Then when you are in a calmer mood discuss with your mother how she can help you in your efforts to become a healthier small you. Explain how hard it is for you to resist those yummy cookies right now and ask her not to fix stuff like that right now or to bake if it exists a flavor of cookie you don't like like maybe some black pepper chip cookies for you and should you weaken and ask for any have her give you them. between the two of you laughing at the propsect of baked blackpepper chip cookies that should be enough to get her to help you and ofr you to strengthen your resolve.

            If you MUST have cookies, wait a few weeks and make them when you're on the nut ring. 1 cup PB, 1 cup splenda, 1 egg.

            For now, have some pumpkin with cinnamon, a bit of splenda, and fresh whipped cream!

            I've also seen a recipe for chocolate revolution rolls, but I don't know how they taste.

            Do some research--find some recipes that are tasty AND healthy! DON"T GIVE UP :O)

                I like to just lift my shirt or drop trou in front of the mirror when I have a craving and then jump up and down so I jiggle like jello...oh yeah, those bulges and rolls make me lose my appetite everytime!

                Baby shouldn't have THAT MUCH Back!

                  LOL - Most of my temptation happens at work. Not sure how that plan would work out here but probably the thought of doing that in front of my co-workers would turn me off. Hee
