3rd day in......

  • 3rd day in......

    Well it is my third day in the induction phase and I am doing pretty good. I think I have hit the keotosis stage. I know I am not supposed to weigh myself to often,but of course I have. I have lost 3.5 pounds as of this evening. What is the best time of day to weigh yourself? Morning / Night?
    What about pickles? Can I eat these in the induction phase? I sure hope so because I have been.

    Can anyone explain to me how to get the weight tracker here on my post?

    Congrats on your success so far. Typically morning right after the first bathroom visit was always my best time. The best time however is anytime you can be consistent to weighing. You can fluctuate by 3-5 pounds per day. Dill Pickles are fine as they are just vinegar soaked cucumbers.

      wow congratulations you are off to a wonderful start!

      I weigh myself once a week at the doctors office.

      as for the ticker - you need to copy the [blah]blahblah.com...... that the site you get your ticker site gives you. go to user cp then click edit signature and add it there -
      there is also a forum called..............

          As Kent said, it was probably OK IF there was no sugar added, but try to get into the habit of checking the labels BEFORE eating anything you are not sure about!

          Once you have set up your ticker at www.tickerfactory.com or one of the other ticker sites you will be given a line of code starting http:// and ending .png
          you need to copy that and paste it into your signature as an image.

          To do that select the 'User CP' link at the top of the page and then click on 'Edit signature'

          Above the box you will see a small icon that looks like a landscape with a mountain and a sun - click on that and another box will open into which you can paste your ticker's url then click OK.

          To preview it and make sure it worked you can then click the button at the bottom called 'preview signature', if all is well then click on 'Save signature' and your ticker will appear on all your posts automatically.

            Wow! Thanks guys for the good advice. I have been reading all the labels before I eat anything. Driving my husband crazy most likely telling him what goes in every food in the kitchen pantry. I figured I could eat the dill pickles, but just wanted to make sure if everyone else agreed that I could. Of course I know that sweet pickles are a no no! Today I am starting my 5th day and I have lost 5 pounds already! This is GREAT! A friend of mine did this diet several years ago and still goes back to it occasionally to maintain her weight and she told me that around the second week was when the pounds really start dropping off. Is this true?
