  • Day two and feeling good!!!

    Hello everyone,

So far so good. I know that it may seem pety for me to let you all know that I'm doing great on day two, but I realize that this is where my strength comes from. When I post I look forward to reading the support fron you all! I also went out and bought some L-Carnitine and CoQ10 and Chromium to go along with the other vitamins. The book was been so useful and helping me to achieve my weight loss. If you haven't already READ THE BOOK!!!!!!

What is a sweet suprise for me is that I haven't craved anything sweet Not that I looking forward to craving it, but that is (was) my weakness. That is why it is so important to me to do well on Atkins. I don't need to crave sweets.

It is not petty at all for you to tell us how you are doing on any day! Making it through every day is a victory and we love to hear about victories. I'm only in my 3rd week and posting here and reading how other people are doing gives me so much strength to keep going.

HI, like you, I am starting day three. From prior experience, I know that after today, I too will feel great. I have a huge sweet problem too and my cravings go away after today also. Stick with it, we can do this!!!!!

The cravings for sweets really do go away. I'm on day 3 of induction and I'm amazed at how little I miss the stuff. Coffee is another story, but those cravings are slowly diminishing too.

Glad to hear that you're getting on well

I am also on day 2 and apart from a dull headache I feel okay. Although I am not cutting out caffeine totally as the last time I tried the Atkins I had severe headaches and couldn't even function at work. I have limited my coffee to 2 cups per day, half teaspoons of coffee with Splenda. I know it's not by the book, but if it makes it so much easier for me to stay on the diet then I'll take it. I only had one cup yesterday and haven't had any so far as I'm trying to drink all the water I can.

Will start my exercise today also on my elliptical trainer, 15 min every day to start with. Must admit, I'm not hungry though which is a good sign
