  • What Does This Mean??

    I got the Ketosis stix and it said that I have a small amt. of ketosis. I was hoping it would make it to the moderate or higher but at least it wasn't a trace of it or negative for that matter.

    SO, what do I do to get into the moderate or higher part of ketosis???????

    Your replies will be greatly appreciated.

    do what you are doing and don't put too much stock into the stix. you are either in or out and right now you are in. also, don't test 15 times a day. the biggest concentration will be first thing in the morning.

      I heard a really awesome tip on the ketostix! Cut them in half and they go twice as far! (I mean, cut them the long way).

      As far as using them to measure, they can't really tell if you're burning bodily fat or dietary fat, so they're not all that scientific regarding giving you accurate information. I think they're a load of fun, but if you see the scale moving, don't put too much in what color the stix are!

        yep and they only detect 1 of the 3 types of ketone bodies produced in the body so don't sweat it.
