  • 8 Days Down....

    and I lost 8 Pounds so far! Hooty Hoo!!!!! I havent been completely cheat, free. However I always got myself back on track after a lil slip up. I cant believe I still lost 8 pounds! Just goes to show how carbs affect your body, and even how just cutting down on them will affect your body

    YAY!! Everyone have a great Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I can almost TASTE ONEDERLANDDDDDDDDDDD Again

    Congrats! That's great progress for 8 days. Just imagine where you'd be without the cheats! Kep up the good work!

      I know...........And it was just one cheat, and It was an "intentional" cheat. My inlaws had dinner, had chix and dumplings, and there was NO WAY to avoid the dumplings, it was like goop all mixed together. And I ate a mini kit kat the other night when giving out candy ;( now, that was intentional.

      Im happy with the 8 pound loss, this week, no cheats, maybe ill lose another 7 or so before my two weeks. That would be awesome!!!!

      I would so love to be in the 180's by Turkey Day, even 189 would be good. Itll be hard, but its doable!!

        Way to go Shashee!!!

        Do you remember me telling you about my best friend who also has MS? She started Atkins sometime in August I believe....anyway...it was a slowww start for her, but it finally kicked in and she's losing like mad. Her doctor told her if she loses another 20 lbs he believes he might be able to start weaning her off some of her meds.

        She's got other issues besides the MS--diabetes, high cholesterol, maybe even thyroid...but the thought of coming off some of the meds is keeping her going!!

          Yep Joy, I remember. The only other condition I have besides the MS is asthma, and I dont take a ton of meds, but I think it will be alot easier on my body, MS wise and Asthma wise if im a lil lighter

          Who knows, maybe it will make both of them get better too!!

            good to see your eyes agian.

            weigh to go on the weight loss.

            Not2late discovered many of her asthma atacks ened when she eliminated the carbs and when she got to the grain rung she realized it was wheat issues.

            geting lighter helps all things even if it doesn't cure them it allows you to better cope with having them.

              Hey Shashee! I also lost my asthma symptoms when I took flour out of my diet. Now it only flares when I'm in a super dusty place or am wood-working (I'm refinishing two dressers, so the dust is bountiful).

              I know you will notice big differences in your health as you move along. Congrats on the 8 pounds! That's excellent!
