  • A successful first week!

Hi everyone! I just finished Week#1 of Induction, and am thrilled to report a loss of 7.0 pounds!!! Some days were easier than others, for sure, but I never cheated...apparently I have more will power than I'd realized!

Challenges from the first week (aside from the usual dietary changes) included having an upset stomach a couple days and being a bit crabby at the beginning. I did start to feel better as the week went on. My housemates have been extremely supportive to my efforts, and have been helping to research and prepare various delicious low-carb meals! Last night we had some amazing grilled pork tenderloin and mashed cauliflower...YUM!!!

I did get in exercise three days last week, but hope to increase that this week. Additionally, I am going to try to drink more water...was getting in about six glasses per day over the past week, and I know I need more than that. I've remembered to take my multi-vitamin, though!

Sending lots of support and positive energy to everyone in Induction right now...THE HARD WORK WILL BE SO WORTH IT!!!

            Sealibra,

Your weight and measurements are exactly miine! Good Job. I started Sunday but I haven't weighed yet. This isn't my "first" attempt. We will have to compare where we are in another week.

            good job.
