  • Newbie to the forums

I'm new to the forums here, although I did use Atkins years ago. When I did the program at that time there wasn't an induction phase so to speak, so I need some advice on starting ...
I don't have the book at this point, although I do plan to get it as soon as I can.
Suggestions and assistance will be greatly appreciated !
    Thanks
    Orann

    Re: Newbie to the forums

Hey Orann! Welcome to the board.

You can check out the stickies in this forum:
    http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...splay.php?f=79

This should give you enough information to get started. Definitely get the book though so you understand why you are doing what you are doing and fully understand the rules of each stage. You'll definitely thank yourself for it!

Best of luck, and if you need anything, we're all here to help!

          Re: Newbie to the forums

          Thanks !
I did find the listings of allowable foods for induction to use until I pick up the book ... I actually had a copy when I was in Texas, but evidently left it there when I moved to NM.
I'm excited about getting started, it worked so well for me the first time that I used the program.

              Re: Newbie to the forums

I ordered my book online and it should be here by Saturday at the latest ... I'm using the guidelines from the forum to set up a list for shopping ... I am setting my start date for tomorrow as I did have a small apple this morning ... but the rest of the day has been pre-induction ... I have tuna for tonight, celery and green beans ... tomorrow is it !

I'm thin already ... the image in the mirror just has to catch up !

Welcome to the board. We are glad to have you here. Knowing you are thin already is just that much closer to making it a reality. Oh be sure you measure yourself and record it at a place like mybodycomp.com -- you want to know the full picture of how much you lost.
