  • Thanksgiving!!!!

I have a few questions people I started a clean induction today I really started last week but I was doing it wrong and lost a pound in 14 days. So now I am doing right.I am so upset because I wanted to lose 10-14 pounds beforeThanksgiving and now I messed that all up! How much do you think I still could lose by Thanksgiving? Another question is how do you guys deal with holidays on a clean induction? I know this is going to be soooo hard!!! Any tips wpuld be helpful. The good thing is at least I think is it is going to be at my house.

    Thanks so much in advance

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

        Re: Thanksgiving!!!!

It would be hard to say how much you would lose by thanksgiving as we are all different. I think it's a better idea to just follow the woe and not put 'deadlines' on losing certain amounts of weight, you can set yourself up for disappointment. Keep in mind this is a Way of eating for LIFE...it's best not to follow deadlines or compare yourself to others.

As for thanksgiving, ours was in early october, I had Turkey, cauliflower, broccoli, squash, green beens and homemade low carb cheesecake.....there is no reason you can't do a legal thankgiving dinner.

            Re: Thanksgiving!!!!

I agree - everyone's body functions differently and responds to diets differently. But I know from my own experience, that unless you have an enormous amount to lose, which you don't really, you will not feel any real changes for about two weeks at least. But please don't get discouraged, no diet can make you lose 10-14 puonds in just two weeks. If you stay on this woe, by thanksgiving, even if you don't lose a dramatic amount of weight, you WILL definetly FEEL dramatically lighter, more energetic and more positive about your image.

            Best of lucK!
