    Not Able To Stay On Atkins

    It has been nearly a month after stopping atkins.
    Few days after completing 2 week induction, I had kidney problems and I was advised to stay off this diet as it could cause further problems in the future if continued...

    I am just very happy with the induction weight I had lost and feel alot lighter than before..

    And thanks to every member to this forum, you have been really supportive and reading some of your success made me start off ATKINS

    Current Weight:
    October 7th = 165 lbs
    October 13th = 155 lbs
    October 19th = 153 lbs
    Goal Weight: 143lbs
    Height: 173.5cm (5'8')

    Don't think about the time you'll be in that new position, think about how'd you look in the new position !! ;)

    I am sorry to hear of your kidney problems, bluedreams

    What sort of eating regime are you following now to carry on towards your goal weight?
    Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

      Wow. Before you began Atkins, did you go to your doctor, get a physical exam and blood work as Dr. Atkins suggested? There are some people who have a degree of "chronic renal failure" and are walking around without even knowing it. That's why in the US, there is a new method of figuring out kidney function.
