Well, I started last Monday (11/6) and was having an awesome week! I planned my meals and took them to work as to be fully prepared. The weekend was even a success. Not a single cheat! Today was another story. I attending a meeting and had requested the appropriate meal accomodations in my RSVP, however when lunch arrived.... there was no meal for me. I could not leave to get something on my own and was starving, so I ate the lunch. It was absolutely not an Atkins approved lunch! Anyhow, that sparked it for me... I lost all self control for the remainder of the day. I had a cookie at break and corn bread with my dinner. I am not only embarassed, but angry at myself for letting one meal mistake take me so far off course. I am starting again tomorrow and hopefully will find it just as easy as my first week. Sorry to vent... but I do feel better.

glad you feel better. you learned a very valuble lesson always have a back up plan in the event you get caught out with out the foods you thought would be there.

make yourself an emmergency bag every day to be safe. when you get to OWL you can cary some nuts orseeds as an emergency meal.

    happy low carbing.

I hate lunch meeting and I know exactly how you feel. Grrrrr. It really bites. Don't beat yourself up about it to much. You'll have many more successes.

I agree, just pick yourself up and start up again tomorrow. I think that bringing some nuts with you just in case is a good plan next time, even if you are not on induction. I know technically it isn't induction friendly, but what would you rather eat? A handful of peanuts/almonds or a big ole sammich? :P

We've all fallen off the wagon at some point or another. the key is to not beat yourself up about it and just keep on truckin!
