Not okay for induction because it contains almonds...but once you get to the nuts rung you're golden.

no we on ADBB go by Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution 2002 edition the last one he wrote and according to rule5 of chapter 11 induction eat nothing not on the accetable foods lists and every thing ut the water and flax is not on the lists. you can save it for OWL in your freezer.

BTW woo hoo on thosae 10 pounds lost already. with only 8 pounds to go you need to move to OWL and add back the foods from the rungs. check the stickies in the OWL forum and chaptwer 14 of your DANDR for how to do it.

      Happy low carbing

Unfortunately you can't have it on induction. As you move through the Ongoing Weight Loss phase and add food groups back to your diet, you'll be able to add it back in. I think because of the wheat gluten and the oat flour, you couldn't have it until you get the grains rung (which is the last one).

HOWEVER do not despair! Beat egg whites until they are stiff (like you'd make meringue for a pie) and spread on a cookie sheet and bake until golden. Use that as a "bread" or shell or wrap...as something to put your meats and veggies on or in to eat. It's yummy.

Sweet, did you know there is a printable acceptable list. Its really great, you can fold it up and put it in your wallet and have it for when you see something and need to check the ingredients.

So do you count the carbs on that same as with whole eggs?

Re: to bread or not to bread

According to www.fitday.com there is 0.3 carbs in one large egg white (I entered the quantity as 10 so it showed the carbs as 3 as anything less than 0.5 carbs will be shown as 0)
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
