Oh boy, I really screwed up today!!
Yesterday was my ninth day on induction and I was doing so well. Well, for some reason I was craving food all day long! I even gave in to all natural peanut butter...I didn't have anything with sugar in it. I did however have to many carbs...about nineteen more than I should have. Damn! Then I was starting to feel weak...(noticed my ketones were really low too) then I got on the scale at work and I gained two pounds...two hours later I got my period....which probably explains the constant hunger...but tomorrow I am going right back on! I was wondering though....what effects does your period have on this diet especially in induction phase? Also should I count tomorrow as day one again of induction?? Thanks

I find that keeping my salt intake down can help a week or so before, I've also heard good things about the evening primrose oil juli mentioned.
