    hiya everyone this might sound silly ,i am just about to start induction and i am not sure what drinks i can have in the uk,
    can you have have unlimited decaf coffee with double cream?
    can you drink cans of diet coke or diet tango etc ?
    can you drink fizzy flavoured water if there is no cals in it?
    and what about diet cordials etc?
    i understand i need to drink 2 litres of standard water per day

    FIZZY WATER--YES, BUT...You are limited to 3 servings of splenda per day, and if you drink flavored water, each serving must count as 1g carbs...one SERVING, not one BOTTLE.

    COFFEE--YES, BUT...Coffee has carbs--I believe you need to count 1g per cup. Coffee has been known to stall people. Heavy cream is limited to 1-2tbsp per day as a "special food" category item and has also been known to stall people...half/half and milk are NOT allowed.

    CAFFIENE--NO...Caffiene is a no-no on induction...I suggest you cut it out completely, and if you are not a total addict like I was, you can reintroduce it occasionally during OWL.

    Not sure what a diet cordial is...

    Remember to drink ALL of your water, and then some...this is one of the KEYS of the WOE...

    HOPE THIS HELPS...ps have you picked up a copy of DANDR? It has a list of acceptable foods...states do not eat anything on induction that is not on the list...
