2002 Dandr???

    2002 Dandr???

    I have a really dumb question but I notice that everyone is and always has recommended the 2002 DANDR Book, how can I tell which copy I have? I have looked but I am unable to find any refernce to this on/in my book.

    I would appreciate any help

    Usually the edition is written in small print on one of the first pages. I think it says something like: Copyright 2002...
    Haven't got a book to hand to check as I'm online from my car of all places!!

      Yes, I had the same problem. There was nothing about the year! Then I found out that it differs from things I get to know in ADBB etc. It had some gaps & I'm pretty sure it was an old edition. That's why I bought the "2002" edition on eBay!

        Look at the first few pages of the book. There should be a page with publication information (copyright, publishing company, etc.). Along with that publication information should be the year it was published.

          OK I think I've got it the copyright says 1992, 1999, 2002 a ways below that it says First Avon Book Printing: January 2002.

          Must be the 2002 edition.

              You might also confirm by seeing the words "Completely Revised" on the front cover...

              but regained ~20# in '07 in less than 3 weeks! And again early '08 ...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."

                "Completely Updated" is on the first cover, what throws me is that the back cover speaks of Dr. Atkins passing in 2003?

                  I can tell you've got blonde hilights! LOL
                  Both books have the same title; Atkins wrote it in the 90's & revised it in before he died. Too bad - there might have been even more revisions or new info added since then if he hadn't, such as a more detailed list of induction veggies, with some exotic varieties, or some clarifications on some grey zones. But it's better than the original, for sure!

                    LOL!!!! OK so I realize now that 2002 is the most recent version LOL!!!! I don't even have blonde to blame since I'm a brunette LOL
