  • Day one!!

    Well im surviving day one!! No cravings yet thank god! But then its only day one... So far Ive had...
    Breakfast: 3 boiled eggs with butter, cheese stick and lotsa water
    Lunch: Big salad with tomatoes, cukes, cheese and about 1/2 cup of tunafish and a bunch more water!
    Dinner: Havent decided yet...probly a burger with cheese and salad...and of course water.
    I know I can do this!! The first time I did Atkins I was so successful until I crashed. This time Im going to reach my goal weight and stay there!!!!

    Grab that bull by the horns this time, Lacelyn - keep track of every foos and drink item BEFORE it passes the lips. Check your DANDR (2002 edition) regularly against the anticipated totals, leaving room for you to have all your meals total up within the limits.

    Ie., how much cheese and how much of each salad ingredient will be consumed over the course of the day?

    Make sure temptations are removed before day 2.

    Have starting weight and measure, then put the scales away 2 weeks.

          Hi!! You are doing great - keep that motivation and you will sail through induction! It sounds like you are off to a great start!!! Be sure to measure your salad veggies though. You can have up to two cups of salad veggies plus one cup of other veggies per day. If you had a big salad with cucumbers and tomatoes, you may have gone over your total for the day. Just be sure to measure - then it is stress free! (I had to learn this the hard way - just trying to help! )

            what a fantastic 1st day!!! I think if you can do one day - then there's nothing stopping you doing 365 days!!

            Good luck - i cant wait to see how you have done on induction
