    ill be glad when its over.....

    Hi again Everyone... Wow............. this Induction Flu is No Joke! today is my 4th day on Induction and ive had the worst headache all day... i 'almost' left work early, but i stayed... but i 'may' stay home tomorrow... depending on how i feel when i get up... if its like today, ill be on the sofa... but I Will Not Cheat! my stomach is rumbling and i know it wont be long before i run to the Little Girls Room... Ha Ha!!! i know whats coming next! Ha Ha!!! im going to continue to drink lots of water & eat only Legal foods... i know it will pass... hopefully by the weekend i will feel like myself again/or maybe like a New Me! i guess im just feeling a little sorry for myself right now... you know how us sick kids are! i think i need a Group Hug... I LOVE ADBB...................

    it definitely gets better. i also have a touch of the "atkins flu" and quite possibly a cold, so i'm extra cranky.

    also, i am very hot, as in hot flashes, in these last 2 days. they last quite a while - enuogh for me to get clamy. anyone else experience that? if not, i'll assume that it's related to the onset of a cold.

      I'm sorry you're feeling bad Isabella, but GOOD FOR YOU for sticking to your guns! That's awesome. I promise you'll feel better very soon. I bet you are nearing the end.

      Lulu, I'm sorry, but I have not idea about the hot flash type symptoms. Don't hate me, but I was one of the lucky ones who didn't really get induction flu. Take care and stay strong -- you'll feel better soon!

            Right now it probably feels like you have 3 hangovers and just got into a fist fight and lost.

            Have you heard those after life stories where the person dies (sorry about the morbid analogy and wish you nothing but health) and all of a sudden they feel this sense of euphoria, inner peace, and stability?

            Induction Flu, at least for me, has gotten worse each time around. However, this is the sense of well being I have felt each time when the flu was gone.

              Lulu, I'm in the same boat you are, I have the induction flu and a cold! I'm staying legal today, but haven't had any veggies yet! My stomach hurts and I just can't stand the thought of them today.

                what are staying legal with? too much dairy could add to your woes, if you have that tendency.

                when i have a cold, my magic formula is to sip hot, boiling water with lemon juice all day. it can give you a run for the money, if you know what i mean, but it knocks out the bacteria or whatever microorganism is invading.

                  I have the same thing with the hot flashes, and the only thing I can attribute it to is the raise in my metabolism. I see it as a good thing, because my body is "running hot" and using up all the fuel I am putting into it

                    i was hoping that's what it is!! yay, if so. i desperately need a boost there. did notice that i didn't have as many of the flashes today as yesterday.

                      I've noticed they kind of come and go...They only thing that really bothers me about them is they make my face oily. I wear make-up to work and end up blotting it all off to get rid of the shine.

                        Renee, I mostly had chicken and egss yesterday but I did have about 3 oz of cheese. I'll cut it out today and see if that helps. Thanks
